Good quality hive, quick delivery

I bought a ruche Dadant here last week, and it shipped pretty quick, arrived in 6 days which was nice. Packaging was solid, nothing was dinged up. Assembly was straightforward too. The wood seems pretty good quality, way better than some other ones I've gotten online before, although the roof had a tiny scratch on it. Overall, I'm happy with it and would probably use them again if I need more gear.

Great gants de protection!

I ordered the gants de protection and they got here fast, took 4 days maybe. They fit perfectly and feel super sturdy. My bees don't stand a chance now, haha! I am definitely getting more stuff from here soon. Recommended!

Hey, thinking of getting a full starter kit from Apiculture.net. Anyone ordered a hive or big stuff to the US? Wondering about shipping times and if customs is a nightmare.

Yeah, I got a Dadant hive from them last year to California. Took about 2.5 weeks door-to-door, which wasn't too bad for an international shipment. Customs was actually pretty smooth, didn't have any issues, just paid the duties when it arrived.

I'm in Texas and ordered some frames and an extractor. It wasn't lightning fast, but within a month. I think the key is to make sure all your shipping info is super clear so it doesn't get held up. Mine arrived no problem.

quick question: are their beekeeping suits sized like normal clothes or should I go up a size? sometimes these specialty things run small.

C Cody 3 months ago
I'd definitely size up if you're on the fence. I usually wear a L, ordered an XL for my combination suit, and it fits perfectly over regular clothes without being too snug. You want room to move, right?

My medium suit felt pretty true to size for me, but it's not super baggy. If you plan on layering a lot underneath, maybe go for the next size up like the other user said. Better safe than stung!
